Rebecca Merrion, 4th & 5th Grade Teacher
B.S. – Kennesaw State University
Rebecca was born and raised in Fayetteville, Georgia but has been calling Chattanooga home since 2012. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Grades Education and is certified to teach Early Childhood. Rebecca worked as a K4 assistant at Brainerd Baptist, tutored math for several years at McCallie, taught 6th and 7th-grade math at CCSE, and has been teaching 4th and 5th-grade math at BBS since 2022. She is excited to share her love of mathematics with her students and launch them into middle school with every tool needed for success.
Rebecca has been married to her husband, Paul since 2009. They have two sons, Peter and Kelly. Rebecca and Paul worship at Silverdale North Ooltewalh. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading spy novels, playing card games, and being outdoors.
One of her favorite verses is Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
