Missy began her teaching career in 2003 after graduating from UTC with a degree in Elementary Education. She received her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from UTC in 2006. She taught in Catoosa County at Battlefield Elementary School until 2013 when she came to Brainerd Baptist School after 10 years as a classroom teacher.  She also coached high school girls fastpitch softball at her alma mater, LFO. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Robby, and they have 3 children.  They also have 5 dogs!  Robby and Missy worship at Rossville church of Christ where they teach children, teen, and adult bible classes and Robby is a deacon. The Hensons love Lady Vols softball.  In the spring you are bound to see them on the SEC network cheering on their Lady Vols.  Missy enjoys being outside and going on adventures with her family. Recently they have taken up bike riding. Her favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5&6.
