Mindi Shoup, Academic Counselor
B.S. – Northern Arizona University
Mindi grew up in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. She and her husband, Scott, are enjoying life on Signal Mountain, and she is the proud mom of four grown young men and a beautiful teenage daughter.
Her career began with teaching third grade at Scottsdale Christian Academy and then moved to homeschooling her children for fifteen years. After completing seven years of teaching second grade at BBS, she began a new role as Academic Counselor and absolutely loves working with students one on one or in small groups as well as teaching STEM classes. When she is not teaching, she loves to swim, hike, mountain bike, read, and just be outdoors, appreciating the beauty of God’s creation. She attends Grace Episcopal Church, and one of her favorite verses is from Psalm 23: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life...”
