Katie Adams was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. She is a BBS alumna and attended Brainerd Baptist from K4 to 5th grade. Katie attended David Brainerd Christian School from 6th grade to 11th grade and ultimately graduated from Chattanooga Christian School. Katie attended Bryan College and graduated with her degree in Elementary Education. Katie is married to Matthew Adams and they have two daughters, Madelyn (8 years old) and Eleanor (5 years old). Madelyn will be in 3rd grade and Eleanor will be in K5. After marrying Matthew, she moved to Crossville, TN, and spent five years teaching in the Cumberland County school system. This will be her sixth year at BBS. She has spent the first 6 years of her career teaching multiple grade levels and is ecstatic to start her fourth year in third grade. Katie and her family attend Brainerd Baptist Church. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her family.
