Language Arts: We will be working with the letter Tt and the sound it makes at the beginning of the word “tent”. We will begin reading words that can be spelled with the letters we have learned so far this year! Example: log, hog, hot, got
Math: We will focus on the development of one-to-one correspondence and using the five and tens frame to subitize numbers. Through work with the tens frames, we will begin to develop combinations of 5 and 10 (Example: 2+3=5, 4+1 =5).
Announcements:
Please label all items with your child’s name (especially jackets, sweaters and water bottles).
Don’t forget to bring a snack and a water bottle every day!
Homework Menus are due September 30th!
Remember - Students are NOT allowed to bring toys in their bags to school. Please leave all toys at home or in the car.
