Christine was born in a small town in Montana, after which her family moved to Minnesota and then to Madison, Alabama where she spent most of her childhood years. She attended Berry College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. During that time she studied at the University of Lorenzo de Medici in Florence, Italy, where she discovered her love for European art, foreign travel, and good food! She first taught art at Brainerd Baptist School from 2008 until 2015, and then decided to take a break from teaching to stay home with her daughter, Jossie, and son, Arjen. Both of her children are students at BBS.

Christine loves playing outside, throwing paint at canvases, spending time with friends, and traveling the world. She finds her church home at Restoration Southside and can’t wait to be back in the Art room again!
